Jobs@NSI

 

All positions advertised within Northern Sydney Institute will now be advertised via the new Jobs @ NSI site.  This includes positions advertised internally within the Institute i.e. Expressions of Interest, and will also include positions which are being advertised within the NSW TAFE Gazette, NSW Public Sector Notices and the external press.  Expressions of Interest received from other Institutes will also be advertised on the site. 

 

Filters will restrict external applicants who are not eligible to apply for internally advertised positions.  NSI TAFE staff will be able to lodge applications and documents on line.  At this stage this facility is not available to external applicants.

 

All applicants will be able to download the required application forms, copies of the relevant Statement of Duty or Position Description, selection criteria as well as other documents that may be associated with the position.

 

To access the NSI Staff Employment site follow the steps below:

 

1.       ’Click’ on the ‘Employee Essentials’ tab on the NSI home page.

2.  Under the Jobs heading in the right-hand column, click on “Jobs @ NSI”

3.     The Jobs@ NSI home page will open.

4.     From this page you are able to:

 

·                  view all positions that are currently being advertised

·                 download essential employment forms

·                 upload application forms (NSI staff only)

·                 log on to internal and external recruitment sites

·                 set up email alerts to receive notification when new positions are advertised

Establishing Email Alerts

 

Users are able to have email alerts sent to their mailbox;

·         immediately a position is displayed,  

·         on a daily basis

·         weekly basis

 

To set up this feature follow the steps below:

 

Step 1 - Click on the ‘Setup Email Alerts’ Link as displayed on the initial log on screen (see above).  The following screen is then displayed. 

Step 2 - click on one of the links you would like to receive alerts on.

Step 3 – choose what you would like to be alerted about and how often.

Step 4 – Click ‘OK’ to confirm settings
